WHAT IS THE ROLE OF MENTEE?
A mentee is an individual who receives advice, assistance and feedback from a more experienced person over a set period of time, resulting in the enhancement of the mentee’s educational and professional endeavors. The mentee must have clear goals and be willing to accept guidance and advice in order for the relationship to be successful. A mentee is open to constructive feedback and has a desire to learn and develop new skills to progress in their graduate education.
- To attend the “Job Shadow Day” at Sanofi on January 31, 2018 at Sanofi.
- To attend two webinars in June 21, 2017 at 3pm and August 8, 2017 at 3pm.
- To commit two Thursdays a month during College Hour in September, October, November and December.
- To commit to 4 Wednesdays per month from 1pm-2pm in January, February, March and April (These dates are the one credit career development courses).
- 100% commitment and attendance to the program is required to receive the $1,500 scholarship.
- Must attend all meetings/trainings and be accountable.
- To be punctual, timely and prepared to all required meetings.
- Be open to learn from my mentor, be honest as well as respectful.
- To provide feedback and complete all required evaluations.
- Mentees will identify goals, seek feedback and be open to what the mentor can share.
- A mentee will follow through on commitments and be prepared for each meeting with their mentor.
- A mentee will be honest and sincere and allocate his or her time and energy for the mentor/mentee sessions.
