What is a Mentor?

A mentor is an experienced corporate professional who goes out of his or her way to help their mentee reach important life, education and career goals. A mentor is a guide who can help the mentee to find the right direction and who can help his or her mentee develop career related competencies. The mentor/mentee relationship is based upon mutual trust and respect. A mentor will help the mentee to believe in him or herself and the mentor will help to boost career-related confidence. A mentor will ask questions and challenge his or her mentee, while providing guidance and encouragement. A mentor allows the mentee to explore new ideas in confidence and to develop a broader understanding of the corporate environment.

A corporate mentor will be matched with a mentee and meet their mentee once per month at RVCC at a prescheduled time.
A corporate mentor will speak with their mentee on a monthly basis by phone or Zoom (that communication will be decided by the mentor and the mentee).
A mentor will attend the training program in order to understand policies, appropriate boundaries and recommended topics to review with his or her mentee.
A mentor will get to know his or her mentee, share their knowledge and be an active listener.
A mentor will serve as a resource and allocate his or her time and energy for the scheduled sessions.
A mentor will follow through on his or her commitments in order to promote a productive and enjoyable mentor/mentee relationship.

Abhimanyu Yarramaneni (Abhi)

Global Safety Officer in Patient Safety and Pharmacovigilance, Specialty Care

Abhi's Bio

Abhimanyu Yarramaneni (Abhi) is a Global Safety Officer in Patient Safety and Pharmacovigilance, Specialty Care at Sanofi, and a physician with over 13+ years of progressive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Abhi has led cross-functional teams through multiple product launches, tackling complex drug safety challenges with one principle at the core— a patient first approach. Abhi’s work spans the full product lifecycle, from early development to post-marketing, ensuring safety strategies are proactive, effective, and collaborative.

Abhi and his family live in Central New Jersey and enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, making/trying new cuisines, and working in their backyard.

Abhi believes mentoring has been a rewarding part of his career, giving the chance to support colleagues as they grow, while also learning from their fresh perspectives. Abhi believe’s in open, two-way exchanges—where we share knowledge, challenge ideas, and celebrate successes together and should learn from the experiences and struggles of previous and future generations.

Abhi is a graduate of Dr. N.T.R University of Health Sciences with a degree in Medicine.

AVINASH SRIVASTA

Director of Analytics – Field Deployment and Incentive Compensation

Avinash's Bio

Avinash Srivastava is the Director of Analytics – Field Deployment and Incentive Compensation at Sanofi, working within the Commercial Operations team. In this role, he leads data-driven strategies to optimize field force performance, design effective incentive plans, and ensure alignment with business goals. Avinash thrives at the intersection of analytics, operations, and human behavior—turning insights into action and enabling smarter decision-making across the organization.

With a career spanning over 18 years including 13 years in the USA, Avinash has worked with several top pharmaceutical companies, bringing a global mindset and deep understanding of business sides of healthcare. Originally from India, he brings a unique cultural lens to his work, helping bridge teams and ideas with empathy and clarity.

Avinash holds a Master’s degree in Statistics and a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Applications. His academic foundation fuels his passion for using data not just to measure, but to meaningfully improve outcomes—for teams, patients, and the broader business.

Outside of work, Avinash lives in Allentown, PA with his wife and two daughters (13 and 5), who keep life both joyful and humbling. He enjoys outdoor sports, exploring global cuisines, and volunteering in his local community.

A firm believer in mentorship, Avinash sees it as a responsibility and a privilege.

Stefan Roehr

CEO at Gold Bond Co., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sanofi

Stefan's Bio

Stefan Roehr is CEO at Gold Bond Co., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sanofi, and a position he’s held since April of this year. This year marks more than 40 years since Stefan started as an intern at Hoechst Roussel Pharmaceuticals Company, a predecessor of Sanofi. He spent the first 20 years of his career in Finance and then switched to Supply Chain, driven by a desire to understand how to better supply medicines to patients. His appetite to understand people and to help is only exceeded by his drive to make a difference. Stefan has lived in the United States, Germany, France, Venezuela, Panama, and Brazil and has travelled to more than 65 countries for work and vacation. In his personal life Stefan enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. Stefan’s hobbies and passions include cars, watches, travel, photography, and whatever sports he can pretend to be good at including golf, tennis, snow skiing, and kayaking. He spends his free time with family. Stefan graduated with a Master’s Degree in Management from Fairleigh Dickenson University, a Master’s Degree in Economics from the London School of Economics, and a Bachelor of Arts Double Major in Business and Computer Science from Richmond University in London, England

BRIANNA SALERNO

Head of Service & Portfolio Management

Brianna's Bio

Brianna Salerno is the Head of Service & Portfolio Management at Sanofi. Her role is to partner within the Global Procurement Services organization to promote innovation, drive value delivery and create partnerships within the larger Sanofi organization. As a people-manager Brianna works to inspire her team and influence others to ensure the best outcomes for all parties involved. Prior to joining Sanofi in 2020, Brianna was a part of Merck’s Indirect Sourcing and Operations Rotational Program supporting HR Procurement, Travel, Meetings and Cards Procurement, and Sustainable Sourcing. During her time at Merck she also hired and led the Indirect Procurement Internship Program.

Outside of work, Brianna is an avid fiction reader, hiker, and baker. She also has two rescue dogs from St. Hubert’s that she adores. One of her bucket-list items is to visit all the US National Parks with her husband.

Brianna graduated with her MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson in October of 2021. She also has an undergraduate degree from Rider University in Global Supply Chain Management with a Minor in Sales & an SAP Certification. Additionally, she graduated from RVCC (class of ’15) with her Associate degree in Business Administration.

DEBASHIS GANGULY

DPE (Dedicated Product Expert) and Submission Lead

Debashis's Bio

Debashis Ganguly is the DPE (Dedicated Product Expert) and Submission Lead for multiple development assets in oncology and InI. Additionally, he has been Nominated as the Medical Writing Expert in the Clin Doc. He oversees these assets from developing the protocols for FIH (1st in human) study to the submissions to Health Authorities (HAs), and everything in between. 90% of communications to the HAs are written communications. Clinical Documentations develop and oversee developing and delivering high quality documents to HAs. Debashis is one of those individuals who ensure that. His job is to Act for Patients. His job is to get an approved drug to the patients for their unmet needs.

He has more than 22 yrs of experience in multiple large pharma to develop drugs and under his supervision multiple marketed drugs are serving to the patient communities. He is widely recognized in Sanofi with Multiple Awards.

Debashis believe in giving and contributing. Mentoring in the most connective form of giving where he can inspire mentees through his skill-set of connecting and bonding with mentees and could share his learning, knowledge and experiences (challenges included) 1st hand. He has mentored and volunteered in his son’s school for 7 yrs in his town. Additionally, he had mentored at least 15 mentees in last 15 yrs, all of whom are doing well now.

Debashis lives with his family near Valley Forge, PA. Debashis earned his PhD in Synthetic Medicinal Chemistry from SUNY-Albany, NY.

LINDSEY MATHEW

Senior Medical Program Lead in Specialty Care, Next Gen Immunology

Lindsey's Bio

Lindsey is a Senior Medical Program Lead in Specialty Care, Next Gen Immunology at Sanofi; a key role of Lindsey’s is to provide strategy and insights to Medical and Clinical to drive collaboration and accelerate delivery of innovative healthcare solutions. Lindsey utilizes her clinical and medical expertise to ensure operational excellence across the organization and foster strategic decision making within her teams. Through a thoughtful risk-taking approach, she safeguards Sanofi’s mission to chase the miracles of science to improve people’s lives. Think of her as the GPS to Immunology’s medical pipeline, only with better jokes and far less recalculation alerts when you get lost in the shuffle!

Lindsey and her family live in Morristown, NJ and enjoy traveling, sports, outdoor adventures and helping people in their community.

Lindsey believes mentoring to be a dynamic relationship offering a guiding light, catalyst for growth, springboard for success and most importantly, a foundation of trust. Her goal in mentorship is not to mold someone into what she thinks is best, but to give them the opportunity to create themselves, because in learning you will teach and in teaching you will learn. Mentoring is a two-way street!

MANI CHIDAMBARAM

Global Head of Customer Facing Learning and Development

Mani's Bio

Mani Chidambaram (Mani) is the Global Head of Customer Facing Learning and Development, and has been in in Training and Learning roles within the industry for the past 30 years. After getting his B.S. and MBA in Buffalo, NY, he got into the pharma industry as a Sales Representative, then progressed through careers in management, Hospital Sales and then into Training. Over the years, he has led teams from 2 to 23 and worked in small start ups to Top 5 companies. He has been at Sanofi for over seven years and has been in his current role since October based out of Sanofi’s Morristown, NJ office.

Mike and his wife have three grown children and have lived in Morris County, NJ for the past 20 years. They love to travel and hike in their spare time. Mani, growing up in Buffalo, is a proud member of Bills Mafia.

Mani gets his energy from students, mentees and curious colleagues. He has taught in the MBA program at Rutgers Business School for 14 years and coaches in the Youth Track and Field program in Morris County, supporting a team of over 200. Teaching and learning are truly his passion.

ROBERT SHUSTACK

North America Head of Procurement for Professional Services

Roberts's Bio

Bob Shustack is the North America Head of Procurement for Professional Services at Sanofi. His team partners with Global Business Units and Functions to build strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate cost savings and bring innovation to the Company. The son of high school teachers, Bob sees the office as his classroom, with the mission of guiding team members to reach their career potential. In his leadership role, Bob emphasizes people development and challenges staff to improve their communication/presentation skills, initiative and self-confidence. Since 2022, Bob has been fulfilling his dream of having an impact in the classroom as he co-teaches the course The Art and Science of Positive Leadership at Rutgers University.

Diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) in 2016, Bob is actively involved with supporting the local community and empowering others to live well with diabetes. Bob is a co-lead of the DiabetesConnect Employee Resource Group at Sanofi and served on the Board of Trustees for the Camp Nejeda Foundation, which operates a summer camp in Stillwater, NJ for kids with T1D.

In his personal life, Bob has become a pickleball fanatic and is passionate about fitness and nutrition. He enjoys reading books and listening to podcasts that inspire him to become a better human being. During the summer, his family can be found vacationing at a beach along the East Coast.

Bob graduated from Rutgers University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

PAUL COX

Global Process Owner for research

Paul's Bio

Paul Cox is Global Process Owner for research at Sanofi. He is part of a function called R&D Operations (RDO) who’s mission it is to make it easier for scientists to discover new treatment options for patients. This involves identifying and optimizing gaps and bottlenecks in Sanofi’s current processes. Paul has over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and his career journey includes time in all phases of research and development. He’s proud to have contributed to the development of multiple drugs currently available on the pharmacy shelf.

Paul was a first-generation college student who’s grateful to have grown up in a country where his college education was funded (tuition and living expenses) by the government. If that wasn’t the case, he most likely wouldn’t have gone to university. As a result, he’s passionate about sharing his experience and helping other first-generation students.

In his personal life Paul enjoys watching soccer and is a die-hard supporter of his hometown team Liverpool FC. He enjoys travelling and his favorite place to visit, apart from Liverpool, is Egypt.

Paul graduated from the University of Bath in the UK and has a BS in chemistry and a PhD in synthetic organic chemistry.

LATOYA BASCOM

Senior Director of Digital Alliances

Latoya's Bio

Latoya Bascom serves as Senior Director of Digital Alliances at Sanofi, where she orchestrates strategic partnerships that drive digital innovation across the pharmaceutical value chain. With a distinguished career spanning nearly two decades in strategic partnerships, business development, and internal audit, she excels at creating synergies between science, technology, and business objectives.

In her role, Latoya champions digital transformation by cultivating trusted partnerships, developing robust governance frameworks, and implementing data-driven solutions that deliver measurable impact in both R&D and commercialization efforts. Her expertise in building meaningful alliances has been instrumental in accelerating Sanofi's digital initiatives.

A proud graduate of William Paterson University with a BS in Accounting and Centenary University with an MBA in Finance, Latoya brings a strong analytical foundation to her strategic work. Her Guyanese heritage has shaped her global perspective and reinforces her belief in the power of diverse thinking and inclusive collaboration.

Latoya is passionate about mentorship and believes in fostering the next generation of healthcare innovators. She actively contributes to building bridges between traditional pharmaceutical practices and emerging digital solutions. Beyond her professional endeavors, Latoya finds joy in exploring new cultures through travel, experimenting with cuisine, and creating lasting memories with her family.

AMY KALISTA

People & Culture Transversal Project Lead

Amy's Bio

Amy Kalista is a People & Culture Transversal Project Lead at Sanofi, where she drives strategic initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, career development, and inclusion across the organization. A graduate in Biochemistry with a Master’s in Public Health, Amy began her career in QC Microbiology and later held roles in Regulatory Affairs at Eli Lilly and Sanofi before transitioning into People & Culture, HR. In her current role, she partners with the Head of People for Specialty Care and the Specialty Care Leadership Team to identify and lead strategic projects aligned with key business value drivers.

Amy has also served on the leadership teams of Sanofi’s Women Inspiring Sanofi Excellence (WISE) and PrideConnect, advancing initiatives that support gender equity, LGBTQ+ inclusion, and mental health awareness. Passionate about mentorship, she has supported both students and young professionals, finding joy in helping mentees discover their strengths, explore new paths, and build confidence in their futures.

Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her wife and three children, taking cross-fit classes, playing soccer and basketball with her kids, and is a lifelong fan of the Harry Potter series, Marvel and Star Wars movies.

MADHAVI PIDAPARTHY

R&D Data Strategy Leader and Governance

Madhavi's Bio

Madhavi Pidaparthy leads R&D Data Strategy and Governance at Sanofi, bringing a wealth of experience from across the pharmaceutical industry. With a passion for unlocking insights from vast data repositories, Madhavi is dedicated to enabling more efficient, reliable, and to support safe drug discovery pathways that ultimately benefit patients.

Madhavi has 20+ years of experience covering digital, digital R&D, R&D business and data for AI. Madhavi believes that data forms the foundation of pharmaceutical research, serving as both input and output of the discovery process. Her expertise lies in transforming untapped knowledge into actionable insights, driving innovation in R&D.

A strong advocate for a culture of knowledge-sharing and collaborative expertise, Madhavi fosters an environment where mutual exchange catalyzes innovative thinking. Her leadership philosophy centers on creating win-win scenarios that drive collective growth and success across the organization.

SONIA KHULLAR

Regional Director for Inspection Management and Inspection Readiness

Sonia's Bio

Sonia Khullar is the Regional Director for Inspection Management and Inspection Readiness based at our US Bridgewater site in New Jersey, with a primary focus on Risk management and Inspection Readiness. Her pharmaceutical career spans roles in sales, medical liaison, independent medical education, as well as both commercial and medical training, covering areas from Emotional Intelligence, Conflict Management to Presentation and Communications skills. In recent years, she has held leadership positions in operational management and auditing, with a current focus on risk management and inspection readiness at Sanofi. Sonia is actively involved in strategic contributions from supporting REMS launch readiness for new products and works transversally across various regionally and globally functions.

She holds a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry and has several publications in key scientific journals, in Cancer research and has taught in the field of HIV/AIDS.

Outside of work, she enjoys family time, especially guiding and supporting her twin middle-schoolers. She is passionate about learning new languages and is currently studying French. Additionally, she dedicates time to volunteering, as part of her commitment to giving back to the community.

KIMBERLY ALLEN

Regulatory Intelligence Professional, specifically a Vault RIM Product Owner by business role and Program Lead, in the Research & Development (R&D) Organization, Global Regulatory Affairs (GRA), Global Regulatory Operations (GRO), Regulatory, Digital & Artificial Intelligence (Reg DDAI) group

Kimberly's Bio

Currently Kimberly, is a Regulatory Intelligence Professional, specifically a Vault RIM Product Owner by business role and Program Lead, in the Research & Development (R&D) Organization, Global Regulatory Affairs (GRA), Global Regulatory Operations (GRO), Regulatory, Digital & Artificial Intelligence (Reg DDAI) group. Partnering with the Digital team to implement Vault RIM features via product, maintenance, and Sanofi (ad hoc) releases using JIRA and Vault PMO for all Vault RIM projects. VaultRIM is the regulated system that Sanofi using to store product information and data critical for drug products that we submit for approval.

Kimberly joined Sanofi in Dec 2016 as a Project Manager contractor, responsible for migrating data from legacy systems and then retiring those systems. From there I continued with the Center of Operations org as PM/BA for several projects. Serving as an interim Application Support User, supporting validation/testing, Kimberly joined Sanofi officially in 2020 as a Regulatory Intelligence Capability, Supporting End to End Process, STARR, Release Mgmt Playbook, Labeling project and then into my latest role as of 2022.

Kimberly has worked in Pharma since 2007, Medimedia as GRA Training Manager, UL as Implementation Analyst/PM for Life Science companies using Compliance Wire, Allergan as a Project Manager. Previous, to that she was a systems analyst, business analyst, project manager or trainer for educational, financial, telecommunications and software systems companies. Recently obtaining a law degree MSJ, Pharmaceutical, Medical Device & Compliance, in addition to a Graduate Certificate of Pharmaceutical Management, Project Management Certificate and BS Computer Information Systems as well other technical certificates along her career.

Kimberly is COFFEE and CHOCOLATE enthusiast! And a foodie as well. She loves nothing more than sharing great food with great people! Quiet moments are just as special as treasured moments with family and friends! Kimberly has a passion for photography, design, and architecture. Often crocheting “works of love” for loved ones celebrating milestone occasions in her free time. Kimberly is loving, nurturing and strives to create a worthy legacy for her loved ones and community.

JESSYE COTTER

Dupixent Respiratory Communications, Specialty Care

Jessye's Bio

Jessye Cotter joined Sanofi in early 2024 as Dupixent Respiratory Communications, Specialty Care. In this role, Jessye is responsible for leading global communications strategies that advance business goals across the Dupixent respiratory franchise, with a laser focus on contributing to the best-in-class worldwide launch of Dupixent for COPD.

Jessye is a seasoned healthcare communications professional and business leader with expertise in scientific and data-driven communications, corporate and brand strategic positioning, franchise-level support, issues and crisis management, product lifecycle support and disease awareness initiatives. Her agency background has enabled her to work across several therapeutic areas, including COVID-19, gene therapy, ophthalmology, rare disease, oncology, diabetes, cardiology and women’s health.

Over the last several years, Jessye has supported clients in more than 50 U.S. and global data and regulatory milestones, helping to bring some of the most important therapeutic treatments to market. In her most recent role, Jessye was responsible for the strategic development of Pfizer’s award-winning, global campaign Know Plan Go, to educate people around the globe on high risk factors for COVID-19 and the need for appropriate treatment.

When she’s not working, Jessye enjoys practicing yoga and running (i.e., will run for a good cause). She lives in Morristown, NJ with her husband, two young boys and a French bulldog, “Donut.”
